Last Jump to page: Results 1 to 30 of Pitfalls of dating a woman almost half your age? Before I get flooded with hate responses I've Dating half your age older women, okay? And yes, they have a different outlook on life, and their focus and priorities are different I don't think so. They rate low on sense of fun, adventure and openness to new things. Also far less adaptable than a younger woman.

Basically the older a person is, the more set in their ways and inflexible they are. But anyway, "Dating half your age" aside So here I am And not for a quick bang either.

I really want to make this work. I'm almost twice her age. We share Dating half your age in common. We have fun together. Anything I should be wary of? Originally Posted by Glenn Gould. Men, particularly well known ones,...

Never too old for love my friend Make sure she's not just using you as a sugardaddy etc. Does she have a job and can support herself? Don't be blind because she's young and attractive brah. Will be approached by many guys. You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later. Any feelings you think she actually has for "Dating half your age" is a crock of chit. She will use you to buy her chit and will eventually cheat with a younger guy, because guys her own age or any guys under 30 are way more attractive to her than you.

I'm a 19 yr old girl and just telling you the truth. Don't believe in that girls prefer older men bullchit. Your relationship with her will Dating half your age nowhere, you'll push for commitment because you see her as a young piece of ass, and she may commit but overtime she'll start to feel like you're smothering her and she'll want to be free of you "an almost 40 dad-like figure" and pursue a relationship with a more exciting mate her own age.

Have fun with her, but dont think she takes you seriously and never forget she "Dating half your age" the upper hand. Originally Posted by skies OP, I'm soon to be I've dated from The craziest chick I ever dated was older than me.

All the ones around my age want a ring and children NOW. They're also jaded from years of being cheated on, used as a cum dumpster, whatever.

I get along great with younger chicks. They are no more prone to cheating than older chicks and, like you said, they're much more open to adventure and loving life in general. I relate to them because I've been a lot of places and I Dating half your age love simple, basic, fun things in life. Also, I've met plenty of fathers of younger chicks and they love me so there's that. The relationship CAN work as long as you can relate to them. Younger chicks are going to look to you for guidance in a lot of things because they'll see you as having life experience.

It's true so be prepared to talk them through a lot of things that you might not see as a big issue but which are a HUGE issue to them. The thing you do need to watch out for is getting used.

As long as that isn't the case, this relationship isn't any different than "Dating half your age" someone older other than life experience. Right now, I work with a lot of year olds.

I'd much rather be around young people. Young women are great, they're fun and they aren't in a rush to get married and pop kids out.

That's a huge win for those of us who aren't in a rush ourselves. PS - My good friend has a dad that is 12 years older than his Dating half your age. They've been married for a long time. Let the haters hate. Originally Posted by AJ WHen I was 19 I dated a guy who was 25 Dating half your age I considered him "older" so 40 yr olds weren't on my radar. I get dating a older but this a bit much. You have to realize unless you're bringing something special to the table most women want to date someone thier own age or a FEW years older.

If a women is dating much older it's usually for a couple reasons 1. He's really special ie money 2. Guys her own age don't want to deal w her or 3. She wants a Sugar Daddy. You know what's great It's also great when they have their own job, pay their own way and don't want my financial help.

Dating half your age it, love it, love it. You know what else is great Younger chicks LOVE adventure, they love when you can tell them about getting chased by a hippo in Africa, when you teach them how to shoot, when you show "Dating half your age" how to cook certain meals, when you explain to them that the credit Dating half your age they're looking at is a bad idea because of crappy APR's, etc etc.

As much as Dating half your age western world doesn't want to admit it, girls like a guy who is intelligent, fun and a good leader. Younger chicks love it the most because guys their age don't have those qualities. Being an older guy sets you apart from the crowd.

If Dating half your age considering her for the long term, be VERY weiry as she changes after On the other hand, I don't know how some of you guys do it.

Like how akward would it be for you to show up at a social gathering among her friends, wouldn't you feel like their father? I know, you spend majority of time with her and not her friends, but still.

GOOD luck getting her family to accept it. They will eventually push her to end it IMO. If I was her father, I'd punch you out if you didn't stay away from my daughter given the age gap.

It all comes down to personal preference I suppose. Everyone has their own experiences but Dating half your age is that Dating half your age knew three girls from high school and college who ultimantley dated and married "older" men while in college or shortly there after. One was a crazy whore who banged nearly every guy in Dating half your age friend group and then was cut out because we couldn't stand hanging out with her anymore.

The other went off in the middle of college and made a couple bang bus style porno's, and the third looked like a dude. I'll give ya 2 of the 3 were pretty damn good looking, but none were seen as high quality partners by men their own age.

But I also can't judge because for all I know them and their husbands could be very happy with life and that is all that matters. Guys who date girls who can be their daughters seem desperate af to everyone else around them. It's just really unsightly to see that kind of couple.

Can a woman who's in...

Same for women dating teenage or young guys. Oh gawd if you're 33 and still can relate to a 19 yr then "Dating half your age" feel sorry for you.

I'm not saying he shouldn't date younger if that's what he wants to Dating half your age but there's a difference between dating younger and dating a teenager. He's almost middle aged and she was in high school last yr. Originally Posted by jimbong. Not gonna make it crew Hope to be dead b4 60 crew. Dated a chick 7 years older than me. She's now living on an island with her dogs. Dated a chick a couple years older than me. Wanted marriage and kids now. Dated a chick 2 years younger than me. Dated a chick 3 years younger than me.

It turns out to be relatively well established, dating back more than date women half their age plus seven': The strange dating rule that. So here I am dating a 20 year old now. And not for a quick bang either.
